Marissa graduated from The University of Akron where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations. With a strong background in written and verbal communication, and proficient skills in research, strategic planning and evaluation, Marissa immerses herself in the culture of her clients. An expert at building solid and long lasting relationships among organizations their publics, her proficient knowledge about the communication process and strategic social media marketing experience gives Marissa the ability to speak the language of multifaceted audiences which allows her to communicate effectively with all types of people.
Marissa started working for Miracle Resources as an intern in 2010 and was quickly promoted to a part-time team member. Her work for Miracle Resources and clients include the development of monthly newsletters, commercial copy-writing, media relations, event planning and client based Public Relation and Social Media marketing plan proposals. Marissa’s dedication and willingness to work in a collaborative environment is crucial to getting a job done, and getting it done right to reach the best possible solution to a problem.
Marissa is a member of the Akron Area Public Relations Society of America and received honorary scholarly recognition through The University of Akron.
